Privacy policy
Last updated: 2026-10-12
Veinleaf is a marbling app for iPhone. This policy describes exactly what the app does with data. It applies to the app and to this website.
What Veinleaf does not collect
No name, email address, phone number, location, contacts, photos from your library, health data, payment information or advertising identifier. There is no account. The app contains no analytics, no crash-reporting service, no advertising and no attribution SDK, and it does not track you across apps or websites.
What stays on your iPhone
Your trays (the list of actions you took), your sheets, their thumbnails, your custom palettes and your settings are stored only in the app's storage on your device. They are not uploaded. When you save a sheet to Photos, Veinleaf asks for add-only access and writes the image; it never reads your library. When you export a file, it goes wherever you send it with the iOS share sheet.
Device identifiers and notifications
If notifications are switched on in the build you use, Veinleaf uses OneSignal (OneSignal, Inc., USA) to deliver them. OneSignal receives a push subscription identifier, your device's vendor identifier (a random ID Apple gives each developer, used here so one device is counted once), the app version, the device model, the iOS version, the language and the time zone. These are not linked to your name or to anything you make in the app. You can turn notifications off in the app's settings or in iOS Settings at any time.
Version check at launch
At launch the app may ask our server whether a newer edition is available. The request contains the push subscription identifier (or the vendor identifier if there is none), the app's bundle identifier and its version number. It contains nothing you made. If the server asks the app to show a notice page, that page is shown in an embedded browser, which may store cookies or local storage like any web page.

Children
Veinleaf is rated 4+ and has nothing unsuitable in it, but it is not designed for or directed at children under 13, and it does not knowingly collect data from them.
Deleting your data
Settings → Reset everything removes every tray, sheet, palette and preference from the device. Deleting the app does the same. To have the notification identifiers erased from OneSignal, write to support@veinleaf.info and we will do it within 30 days.
International transfers
OneSignal processes notification data in the United States. Where the law requires it, transfers rely on the European Commission's standard contractual clauses.
Your rights
You can ask for access to, correction of or deletion of the little data described above, and you can object to its processing, by writing to support@veinleaf.info. You can also complain to your local data-protection authority.
Changes
If the app starts doing something new with data, this page changes first and the date at the top moves. The version in force is the one published here.
